PlayStation Phone sees in-depth preview at Chinese website (videos)

The PlayStation Phone continues to get coverage, also known as leaks, and the latest for the Xperia-branded and Android-powered device comes from a Chinese website, IT168. The reported codename for the device has been given as Zeus.

The PlayStation Phone will likely be powered by a 1GHz Snapdragon QSD8255, as in the HTC Desire HD. In addition, its graphics will be powered by a Qualcomm Adreno 205 GPU. The device will sport a 4-inch 854 x 480-pixel display, a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, a 1,500 mAh battery, microSDHC support and 512 MB each, RAM and ROM.

It's unfortunate the PlayStation Phone hasn't see the light of day at CES. ALthough the show isn't over yet, it would have been an early highlight, so it's obviously not going to be shown off. Additionally, the blog noted that the device is buggy, as one might expect at this stage. but benchmark numbers included a score of 1,733 in Quadrant.
